PRIDE Academy

The PRIDE program is designed to provide a structured environment serving the students of Bullard ISD who need an alternative setting for completing high school graduation requirements.

At PRIDE, our vision is to provide an alternative path to a Texas high school diploma eliminating as many distractions as possible and serve students who do not thrive in a traditional classroom setting or need a vehicle for an accelerated path to a diploma.

Guidelines for Consideration:

Before a student is considered a candidate for the program 3 out of the 5 STAAR/EOC exams must be passed.

Application Process:

Applications are available at BHS through the counseling department. The initial process must begin with the high school counselor.

Request a transcript and EOC/STAAR scores and a copy of the student’s Personal Graduation Plan from the counselor’s office.

Ask the appropriate assistant principal for any discipline records and a copy of the student’s attendance record. (Please note: The Pride program will not tolerate behavior that interferes with the educational process of fellow students.
