Endorsements, Career Clusters, and Programs of Study

Endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. They provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area.

Career clusters provide students with a context for studying traditional academics and learning the skills specific to a career. The State of Texas recognizes sixteen different career clusters. Bullard ISD offers course career clusters in fourteen of those sixteen.

Programs of study are course sequences that prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their chosen career. These sequences embed relevant, real-world experiences and culminate in a postsecondary credential. Students complete very specific course sequences that lead to industry-based certifications and work-based learning opportunities to ensure students are prepared for in-demand, high-skill, high-wage careers in Texas.

The following career clusters are available at Bullard High School CTE courses and their associated endorsements and industry-based certifications.
