Senior and Graduation Info

Class of 2024 Commencement will be held on May 24 at 8:00 p.m. at Panther Stadium.

Tickets are NOT required for graduation. Graduates will receive 2 field passes to give to their family/friends. These passes can be used to sit on the track during the ceremony.

WEATHER UPDATE:

Thursday, May 2, 2:52 p.m.) The weather forecast shows a possibility of rain on Friday evening. We are closely monitoring the forecasts to determine if a delay is needed for the graduation ceremony. Our goal is to hold the ceremony as planned if possible. 

We will provide updates beginning at 12 p.m. Friday and then every two hours. Our final update will be at 6 p.m. If at that time a delay is needed, we will postpone the ceremony to Saturday morning, May 25, at 9 a.m.

Again, our goal is to continue with the ceremony as planned on Friday at 8 p.m.

Mon. March 4 - Senior meeting and early release (9:00 am in Auditorium)

Thurs. March 7 - Cap & Gown distributed during lunches (to those who have ordered)

Sat. March 23  - Prom @ The Legacy (8:00-11:00 pm)

Tuesday, April 9 - Graduation meeting #1 - Grad packets due April 26. (Auditorium during PT)

Tues. April 16- Senior Class of 24 photo for yearbook (Gym during PT)

Tues. April 23 - Senior meeting to discuss Seniors serving Seniors  (Auditorium during PT)

Fri. April 26 - Senior Slide show pics due 

Each senior is limited to 3 total photos  NO COLLAGES

1) Child/baby pic 
2) Pic of your choice (favorite memory, hunting, fishing, sports, dance, etc)
3) Senior year / most current pic
Must be school appropriate or will not be included

Fri. April 26 - Graduation packet due to PT Teacher

Fri. April 26 - Powder Buff Jrs. vs. Srs Boys Volleyball

Mon. April 29 - Val & Sal bios to Mr. Pawlak for local media

Thursday, May 2 - Seniors Serving Seniors (arrive by 9:00 am Auditorium)

Tues. May 7 - Graduation meeting #2 (Auditorium during PT)

Mon. May 13 - Val & Sal Speeches completed to Mr. Pawlak

Wednesday, May 15 - Exam exemption/appeal sheets available outside of AP office

Thursday, May 16 - Seniors Receive Golden Tickets at Lunches

Friday, May 17 - Senior Breakfast / Awards / Parade of Campuses

  • Graduates must bring their Caps & Gowns
  • 2023 Graduates & Parents Only
  • Attend 1st Period (if late arrival, report to gym by 7:55)
  • After roll call, report to Gym
  • 8:00 am - Eat breakfast 
  • 9:00 am - Senior Awards Ceremony in BHS Auditorium
    • Presentation of the Senior Slideshow
  • Graduates will board buses and travel to the Early Childhood, Primary, Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle School campuses.
    • Seniors will walk the hallways in caps and gowns
  • Top Ten & Twelve Years with BISD Students will take a group photo at the Early Childhood

Sun. May 19 - 6:30 p.m. Baccalaureate at First Baptist Church Bullard (not required)

Mon. May 20 - Senior Finals (5-8)

Mon. May 20 - 7:00 p.m. Powder Puff Jrs vs. Srs Girls Football; 8:15 p.m. Senior Sunset 

Tues. May 21 - Senior Finals (1-4) Seniors may leave after 4th period

Wed. May 22 - Tech Turn In; Senior Meeting in the Auditorium at 9:00 a.m., Campus Star Walk (Bring Cap, Gown, and Stars)

Fri. May 24 - 9:00 a.m. Graduation Practice (report to BHS Auditorium)

Fri. May 24 - GRADUATION!!

    • Arrive and report to BHS Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. (chairs will be labeled)
    • Park in Band Practice Parking Lot
    • Graduation processional begins PROMPTLY at 8:00 p.m.
