Scholarship Opportunities as of April 22, 2010 ATPE Scholarship for Education Majors - A senior planning to attend college and major in education.  Application:  see Counselor or Mrs. Hunter.  Deadline:  May 3, 2010. Al’s Formal Wear Scholarship – deadline is May 31, 2010 (apply online) @ www.alsformalwear.com/Scholarship or go by their Tyler location. Baylor University Carr P. Collins Scholars Program - applicants must:  meet all university requriements for unconditional admission; have a minimum combined Critical Reading and Math score of 1250 on the SAT or a minimum of 28 on the ACT; have completed a balanced college preparatory program including history, science, and a foreign language; be in the top quarter of their graduating class; and be a resident of the state of Texas.   Apply online @ http://www.baylor.edu/admissions/CarrPCollins. Stephen F. Austin Army ROTC Scholarship - For information on Army ROTC or to apply for a scholarship:  http://www.goarmy.com/rotc/.  Student can also obtain information from the Counselor's Office.
