At the last meeting, we decided on the color of blue we want, and also decided on bean bag armchairs in two different colors. Let Mrs. Martin know if you find a good rug at a good price, so she can go get it.
Susan has suggested something on the walls, and the Board decided that framed pictures of students/guests in the library would be attractive. Destiny Fawver will act as photographer.
The next meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, at 7:30 AM. Our first topic will be the "painting day" field trip thingy: what we need and who does what (and what's for lunch). Then, we need to discuss book fair duties and more decor ideas.
Another topic is music in the new area. Are CDs best? Is there some device that will play both iPod and mp3? How do we control the volume so that patrons in the rest of the library are not disturbed? If you have any viable ideas, please share them with us.
